Your Saenger Theatre Experience

The South’s Most Illustrious Theatre

The Saenger Theatre was designed by Emile Weil and built by Julian Saenger in 1927 and served as the flagship of the Saenger theatre empire. Housing “an acre of seats in a garden of Florentine splendor,” the theatre has been restored to its historical grandeur and is ready to welcome you for a premiere theatre experience.

Now seating more than 2,600 patrons, the Saenger is the perfect location to enjoy some of the world’s top acts and productions. From the twinkling star-lined ceiling to exquisite Greek and Roman statuary, the Saenger is sure to provide an all-encompassing experience unlike any other.
