Ticket holders for DEAR EVAN HANSEN at the Saenger Theatre will be exchanged automatically to best comparable seating at the Mahalia Jackson Theater. The date and time of each performance will stay the same. Patrons will receive a new seating location confirmation no later than November 1. If for some reason seating cannot be accommodated due to capacity, those patrons will receive a full refund.
All ticket holders should continue to check their email for additional announcements, updates and seating confirmation.

Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans and DEAR EVAN HANSEN announced the addition of a special Thursday matinee performance in New Orleans on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theater.

Ticket buyers who were otherwise displaced by the change of venue for DEAR EVAN HANSEN will be given exclusive priority access to seats to the additional performance on Nov. 7, 2 p.m. Following this exclusive window, all remaining seats for the Thursday matinee performance will go on sale on Friday, November 1 at 10 a.m.

DEAR EVAN HANSEN has worked closely with Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans to ensure as many members of the community as possible have the opportunity to see the show during its tour stop in New Orleans. In addition to the adding a Thursday matinee performance, the company will offer a special cast Q&A talkback for audience members following the added performance.

DEAR EVAN HANSEN is part of our 2019-2020 Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans Series.

A letter that was never meant to be seen, a lie that was never meant to be told, a life he never dreamed he could have. Evan Hansen is about to get the one thing he’s always wanted: a chance to finally fit in. DEAR EVAN HANSEN is the deeply personal and profoundly contemporary musical about life and the way we live it. DEAR EVAN HANSEN features a book by Tony Award winner Steven Levenson, a score by Grammy®, Tony® and Academy Award® winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman) and direction by four-time Tony Award nominee Michael Grief (Rent, Next to Normal).
